Who we are...
Rossi Engineering was incorporated by three family members in December of 1996 with the vision to engineer, design and build marine products; specifically sailboats in the 25-35 foot range. Our first design and build was to the Mount Gay 30 Rule and launched in 1998. The boat was named Stitch-N-Glue and raced for several years on the Chesapeake Bay out of Annapolis, Maryland. Since that time we have been developing a process to construct one-off hard chine hull designs that can be applied to larger sail or power craft. This process reduces construction time, cost and produces a lightweight composite structure that can be tailored to specific loading conditions. We have applied this technique, which we have termed Flat Panel Technology (FPT), in the construction of the Rossi-33 R/C.
